Touching, challenging essay in the NY Times Magazine this week.
Highlights many of the issues I'm presently grappling with in a chapter:
1. who will advocate for inclusion and proper special education?
2. how do you institutionalize changes in school programming?
3. how do you fund programs when there is minimal political will to do so?
4. how has the meaning of "segregation" changed? what are the different ways it has been used?
