Ronnie Earle, the much maligned DA who has drawn such Republican wrath of late, has a very different record than I expected.

The Campaign Desk has a short piece outlining his career- 28 years in office, 3/4 of the pols he's prosecuted have been Democrats- and inquiring as to why the "crackpot" comments of various wingnuts have been so readily accepted.
