Paul O'Neill, one of the many folks pushed out of the white house, primarily for proving himself capable and independent, notes the following in his book, The Price of Loyalty:
"Ideology is a lot easier, because you don't have to know anything or search for anything. You already know the answer to everything. It's not penetrable to facts."
