Campaign for Fiscal Equity Site devoted to establishing equitable funding for New York schools; a report entered into evidence in one of their cases, "Teacher Quality Matters" written by Dr. Ronald Ferguson can be found here.
Council of the Great City Schools
Education Excellence Home site for the Thomas B. Fordham Foundation. Commissioned a report from David Angus (and Jeffery Mirel) that surveys the history of teacher certification programs; features several articles from Chester Finn.
ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation
National Council on Teaching Quality Conservative in Orientation, emphasizes alternative routes to teacher certification. Kate Walsh, the current director, is/was a senior policy analyst for the Abell Foundation. Such headlines as "more money does not buy student achievement" should give a clue as to their orientation.
