I'm not the only one disturbed the list of companies involved in fighting the war, especially with the developing scandal around prison management in Iraq.
There's a story from Mother Jones that describes the work of the "Blackwater" corporation in training sailors.

Obviously, there is no accountability.
Speaking of accountability, why is the general who was in charge of the prison system, Janis Karpinski, so vehemently denying any responsibility? Isn't that the whole point of a chain of command, that you are responsible for the behavior of your soldiers? Or does the injection of private service providers end any real accountability?
